Recent events are a heavy reminder of ongoing injustices in society,

from the denial of basic human rights to the impact of racism both overt and subtle against people of color. We're acutely

aware of the pain our friends, families, team members, players, and communities are

experiencing.

We believe in equality and justice, diversity and inclusion,

and that these fundamentals are above politics.

The team is eager to move Fortnite forward, but we need to balance the season 3 launch with time for the team to focus on themselves, their families, and their communities.

You know, normally this podcast opens up very jovial and fun, not heavy, but, you know, so much heavy stuff going on in the world as of right now

That it just can't be ignored. You know it's it's 2020 and we have a huge pandemic that has affected the

entire world over 100,000 deaths just here in America and you know the thing that is

dominating the mood the news now is not even a global pandemic it's racism I just can't believe that is happening in my lifetime in 2020 and

that this isn't something that you know where we're past but we're not and you know
