work that you love? Yes, I am. I love being a judge and I love being able to make a difference for the better.

Good. Well, you certainly have been fulfilling that role for many years.

Judge Ann Elizabeth Barnes won election in 1998 to the Georgia Court of Appeals and took office January 1st, 1999.

She was re-elected without opposition to a second term in 2004. In 2010,

she was elected to a third term by getting more votes than any other candidate in the state of Georgia.

She earned her jurist doctor from the University of Georgia in 1993 and her master of laws in the
