Hello and welcome to another episode of Page 94.

My name is Andrew Hunter Murray and this week we are doing something very slightly different.

We are changing the format in the second half of this week's episode.

We're going to be doing one of the interviews you know and love with one of the writers from the magazine.

But in the first half of today's episode we are going to be talking a little bit about the news with a panel consisting of the magazine's editor,

Ian Hislop and two of the magazine's writers Adam McQueen and Helen Lewis.

We are recording this five days after the last magazine arrived on people's dormets.

And we thought it would be fun to talk about how the news might have changed,

what stories we got right, what stories might have moved on in interesting and unexpected ways

since the last issue of the magazine.

So the one thing I think we all wanted to talk about, we don't like looking at the past at Private Eye.

You know, we don't like looking way back.

I thought it would be fun to talk about someone new.

So in particular, I don't know if any of you three have noticed,

but there is a new journalist on the scene in Fleet Street, new columnist, really exciting.

He's arrived at the Daily Mail and he's making waves already.

He's called Boris Johnson.

Did any of you see this?

I did. I will confess I did.

I might be the only person in this room who quite enjoyed the column.

I thought I was going to be on this boring sort of like my revenge.
