You have to do plenty of listening and generally get used to hearing natural English

as it is spoken, and my podcast is here to help you to do that. In this episode

Amber and Paul are back on the podcast. In case you don't know Amber Minogue and

Paul Taylor are my friends who've been regular guests on this show for many many years

They are both stand-up comedians from the UK living in Paris like me and a couple of weeks ago the three of us got together here in my

room and we had a conversation for this podcast we didn't plan the topic in advance

okay in fact well We didn't plan the topic in advance, okay? In fact, well to be fair I did have a plan but I just didn't get to the plan. We ended up talking about something more interesting than what I'd planned.

So essentially you're going to hear a lot of spontaneous natural speaking,

a totally natural conversation that moves from one thing to another thing in the most natural way.

We're not slowing down or trying to use the easy words.

This is just how we speak normally when we are together.

And as you will notice, sometimes I try to explain things or clarify things as we go.

I try to like stop the conversation sometimes to try and clarify what's going

on to help you. But still it might be difficult depending on your English
