I'm your host, Jason Snell, and in this episode we're going to be talking about a classic film from the 80s.

It is 1986's Stand By me. I was prompted to do this because a couple

months ago we lost Rob Reiner who directed Stand By Me as well as many of my favorite movies of

all time. This is Spinal Tap, Princess Bride, where Harry met Sally, among them.

I'm joined to talk about this particular movie

in which four kids go down a railroad track

to look for a dead body in Oregon.

Yeah, I absolutely love this movie.

And I, this is one of those times when I'm having a hard time picking, the one

witty thing I can use here to be related to the rest of the movie.
