I'm your host, Allie Feller, and we are in Boston Marathon Recap Mode this week.

Every year in Boston, I host a panel at the Race Expo featuring some of the top American women marathoners.

And this year, that meant getting to sit down and chat with fan favorites

Emma Bates and Jess McLean on the Friday before the race. These two are the best. You know them.

You love them. So we'll get right in. But I of course do want to shout out and acknowledge both of

their performances at this year's Boston Marathon. Jess McLean went on to become the top American woman in Boston.

She finished seventh overall in 222.43, a three-minute, three-second personal best. Wow.

Emma Bates was the third American woman to finish. She came in 13th overall in 225-10. These women are incredible.
