1:34.0	So maybe we need a little primer on the shadow.
1:39.0	And I'm assuming by the shadow, are we talking about what the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung was talking about when we talk about shadow?
1:47.0	In that aspect, I guess, of ourselves that doesn't kind of fit with our ego.
1:53.0	Right, right. In psychological terms, the shadow is the hidden, the repressed parts of ourselves that we prefer not to identify with.
2:02.0	So shame, guilt, greed, arrogance, weakness and competence. We could go on and on, right?
2:10.0	We don't, you know, generally like to see ego-diflating aspects of ourselves. So we hide them away.
