But I was talking to a friend who was asking me about the podcast and I was sharing with her what

the purpose is for the podcast. And really, you know, I grew up without a good representation of

marriage modeled for me by my parents.

They got divorced when I was just about 20,

and the marriage was really broken with lots of really bad patterns far before they actually, you know, divorced.

But so I didn't have a good role model for marriage. And in fact, none of my friends

had parents that had good marriages. I had one basically role model of a marriage that I would

aspire to have a relationship like they had. And they still have an amazing relationship and they're still

great friends of mine and I look up to them so much. But that's just one. And so I think

in someone else's story and relate to them and kind of figure out the way they're thinking
