Summary

Remember that Seinfeld episode where George is at his girlfriend’s mother’s house, and he sees a partially eaten éclair in the kitchen trash can, and he picks it up and takes a bite? Of course, someone sees him do it, and he tries to explain, and all sorts of hijinks ensue because that’s the world of TV sitcoms. My guest on today’s episode, in a way, plays that role in real life. He’s well-educated, fully employed, married, and is certainly able to afford buying groceries. But he doesn’t spend any money on food, since he’s able to get his food for free. 0:00.0	I want to take you back a few years to 1994 and the TV show Seinfeld.
0:17.7	This show was extremely popular, everyone watched it.
0:21.0	It was season 6, episode number 6.
0:24.8	In this episode, George Costanza has a new girlfriend and he's at a luncheon at her
0:30.4	mother's house, which is attended by several of her mother's friends.
0:35.5	George is doing his best to make a good impression.
0:38.3	His jokes are well timed, he's very complimentary to all the older ladies he's really doing great.
0:44.2	They love him.
0:45.6	But if you remember George, he always seems to find a way to mess up.
0:50.5	As he's bringing some dishes into the kitchen, he happens to notice in the trash can.
0:55.9	Sitting on top of the other trash is a partially eaten eclair.
1:01.3	This is a type of pastry with delicious cream in the middle and topped with chocolate

1:07.6	He sees it and he thinks about it for a second and then he reaches into the trash can and
