Hello and welcome back to the Truth Seekers podcast. A Truth Secret is someone who wants to know the truth. They search for what's true and they won't rest until they find it.

In our last episode we learned how King Saul was. the for the people to gather to worship him. It was built in Jerusalem on Mount

Mariah and it took seven years to complete. That's a long time. God had given David, Solomon's father, the plans for the

temple and David passed on those plans to Solomon before he died. Now before we begin with today's story let me ask you a

question. Are there things you like to do that you are good at? Do you have a special

skill or a hobby that you love to spend time doing?

Maybe you are good at drawing. Maybe you are good at sports like basketball or golf.

Maybe you are a skilled ballet dancer.

Maybe you are really good with numbers and you like to organize things.

Maybe you can sing well or maybe you like to build and construct things.

Maybe you are good at explaining things to

others and teaching others new things. Maybe you are curious about nature and

scientific things. Maybe you like to come up with new inventions. Do you know that the things you like to do are things that God has placed within you?

It was no accident that you are skilled in a certain area.

Before you were even born, God knew what gifts and talents he would give to you.

We all, no matter where we were born, what family we belong to, or what country we live in, we all

have gifts and talents. God has created us each to reflect him with our unique skills. No one can do everything but we all can do something.

If you haven't found what you are skilled at yet, don't worry.

God will show you and he will make it clear to you as you ask him.
