Eight things God expects out of husbands. A husband is somebody who is married to a wife.

And when you get married, the Bible has certain responsibilities and certain roles for a husband. And if you don't fulfill those roles as a husband,

you're not functioning in your calling as a husband.

And you're not going to be experiencing God's blessing on your marriage.

So many things in marriage depend on a husband. And the scripture is very clear about

what is expected out of a husband. So let's dive in. Number one, God expects a husband first to pursue God.

We see this when God made Adam. He placed them in the Garden of Eden and then God actually told Adam,

don't eat of this tree and God presented Adam pretty much put him in his presence, put him in

his word by telling him what to do and what not to do. And then came Eve. It's important to

understand that before a husband can lead his family,

he has to first follow Jesus. A husband cannot be a head that is a blessing to his family

until he submits to the head that is Jesus Christ. In the beginning in Genesis we see that

God spoke to the ground and the ground produced plants.

Then God spoke to the sea or to the water and the water produced fish or the fish came out of the water.

And then God spoke to himself and creation, humankind, we, men, women were created.

So in other words, plants come from the ground, so they need the ground

to live. Fish comes from water. They need water to live. Men came from God, so we need God to live.

Now, the soil, the ground, can exist without the plants. water can exist without fish and God exists without us.

But we cannot exist without God. Plants cannot exist without soil. Fish will die without water
