1:18.9	will be talking about one of the most tragic days of the Falklands campaign for the British, 25 May
1:24.5	1982, when the type 42 destroyer, HMS Comptory and the supply ship Atlantic conveyor
1:31.2	was sunk by Argentinian bombs and exoset missiles respectively. Now, just to recap, four days
1:37.6	earlier, as we've heard in previous episodes, troops were successfully landed at San Carlos
1:43.2	water. Everyone got ashore without incident.
1:47.0	And so there they are. They're waiting for the next step. To move on, they desperately need
1:52.1	the supplies, which are on board, the 15,000-ton container ship Atlantic conveyor. And what they
2:00.5	really need are the heavy lift
2:02.6	Chinook helicopters and the Wessex helicopters and also on board of course are tons of
2:08.9	ammunition equipment to build an airfield sea harriers and RAF GR3 harriers which will
2:16.4	massively augment the defensive air power will have, which of course
2:20.7	is an absolutely key element in the success of the operation. And also very important,
2:26.1	tents for thousands of troops. There's just, at the moment, they're out in the open. And the longer
2:33.5	the campaign goes on, the worse their physical condition is going to get.
2:37.5	So the tense are often forgotten very important.
2:41.3	Now, the 25th of May has huge significance for the Argentinians.
2:46.1	It's their national day that marked the start of their revolution in 1810,
