Great to have you with us as we kick off a pretty gloomy week where I am. It is very overcast, but that's all right because I'm inside. I'm working away on content. I'm trying to update the score fantasy football draft kit. I don't really want it to be like a beautiful sunny day out there. the links there on today's show we're to focus on the main takeaways though what we learned this

weekend what you need to know for your

fantasy teams but i'm going to be honest with you i am not finding the preseason games as valuable

this year we've seen a lot of teams wrestler important players in august that trend has kind of gotten

more and more prevalent in recent seasons so we don't really get as much to go off of which is good

and bad the good news is there also haven't been a lot of injuries. There's really only one notable injury this week and we'll talk about it in a second. There were a couple last week, but it's smart for these teams to rest their stars. I don't blame them at all for doing that even if the bad news is that we don't get to learn as much during the preseason but there's always

things we can pull from these games and I've just adjusted by making my takeaways

columns a little bit shorter now because you don't care about third string

quarterbacks and fifth string receiver battles or anything like that and you

shouldn't care because most of them aren't going to have an impact on your fantasy

season but I will hit on the things that I think you need to know from the weekend slate. And just to mention as well, before we get into that, I'm working on an update to my dynasty trade value charts. I really wanted to get that done on Sunday. I ran at a time. I had a concert to go to. Hopefully I will get that done tonight so you can be on the lookout for those regardless.

Let's get to these takeaways from week two of the preseason and we're starting with rookies again.

Last week it was the rookie QBs.

This week it's the rookie receivers and a lot of the top rookie receivers are sitting out just like I mentioned about all those other players guys like Marvin harrison junior and

stuff we're not getting to see a lot of them but malik neighbors has been out there and malic

neighbors looks like a potential superstar in new york 21 years old this guy has everything ahead of

him a great career on the way he goes out there in this preseason game, catches

four passes for 54 yards, just constantly getting open. He's making things that should be
