Summary

Are you a Mum entrepreneur wrestling starting your business and raising your children? In today’s insightful episode Rob is joined by eight mum entrepreneurs to discuss the life of a parent and an entrepreneur. Listen in to discover how to balance the upside and the downside of entrepreneurship, lessons on how to improve your mindset when being in business and being a parent and why vision, clarity and strategy are essential to the success of a mum entrepreneur. KEY TAKEAWAYS Mum entrepreneurs should know that it is okay to have the ‘mum guilt’ of leaving their kids to work. Just hustle as hard as you can and everything will be okay. Women should know that every situation they're in has an upside and a downside, be it good or bad. Mums should know that when they start their businesses, it’s not going to get much easier, because getting into business comes with a set of challenges too. Don't listen to the negative vibes from other people because you’re working and you have kids. Always work harder so that you can give your kids the better life that they deserve. All children need is to feel loved. It goes much deeper than being constantly there for them, you can make all the mistakes you possibly can think of, as long as your child feels truly loved and whichever way you decide to communicate that to your child, whether it's physical, whether it's verbally, as long as that is there, that's already a huge brick in their personality building. Never judge yourself because if you're questioning everything it means that you probably lack clarity of your vision and purpose. Wisdom in parenting is understanding that you make no mistakes and you have a clear plan and strategy of how you want to raise your kids. It’s important to realise that every mistake you make is also a gift to them. Always try and get a good blend of equally serving them and equally serving you. This is what every mum entrepreneur should know. Women should eliminate the thought that being in business is being in male-dominated environments, they should understand that business is equal for men and women and they should never underestimate their capabilities. BEST MOMENTS “However hard it feels, it's going to be worth it in the end. ““Having guilt is just part of being a mother.”“It's not always hard and it doesn't always get easier.”“No matter what you do, you will get judged.”"Get judged doing something right for you and your family and your legacy."“It’s not about how many hours you've got, it's about how you use those hours.”“Don’t be scared to ask for help because it's not a weakness, it's a strength.”   [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES The Smart Connector: The Entrepreneur's Blueprint for Business Relationship Success Kindle Edition The Wellness Entrepreneur Podcast https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter   https://robmoore.com/podbooks  rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator.
