The term that got me through so many situations is slow as pro. Just taking your time and getting through and not, you know, there's when you're doing so many moves and so much, there's a tendency to want to just rush out and do the next thing. Be able to slow down and be thoughtful of everything. I think helped us have a pretty smooth, smooth trip.

Today we are kicking off an epic two-part mini-series with my friend Jeremy Whalen from Camp West Barbecue.

Earlier this summer, Jeremy went on an epic 17-day RV trip up the California and Oregon coasts and then back home again to Sacramento,

California area. And I followed this whole trip on his Instagram account. And about halfway

through his trip, I reached out to him and said, man, you have got to come on the podcast and you

have got to share this whole adventure with the RV Atlas community. It reminded me of my family's epic road

trip to the Pacific Northwest that we made seven or eight years ago. And I just wanted to hear

about all the fun that he had with his family and to learn about all the awesome campgrounds

that he stayed at. So in this episode, we're going to focus on the trip planning and getting ready

for this trip. And then we're going to talk about four great campgrounds, the first four campgrounds on this RV trip. We're going to talk about Shelter Cove RV campground and some of the things that his family did around there. We're going to talk about Lighthouse Cove RV Park in Crescent City and the things they did around there. Then we're going to talk about Sunset Bay State Park

in Cus Bay, Oregon, and then South Beach State Park in Newport, Oregon. For each of those campgrounds,

Jeremy's going to talk about the campground, give us some details, and then also tell us about
