Summary

0:00.0	It's 141 a.m. on April the 15th, 1912.
0:07.0	RMS Titanic has developed a 10 degree list to port.
0:13.0	It's bad enough that 5th Officer Wilde is ordering passengers to move over to the starboard side to compensate.
0:20.0	The ship is not only down at the head,
0:23.3	but twisting too, like a whale about to roll on its side as it plunges beneath the surface.
0:32.3	By now, all but four of the ship's wooden lifeboats are already in the water.
0:39.2	Wild and second Officer Lightholler are still working on filling boats four and ten on the
0:43.5	port side.
0:45.6	While on the starboard side, now more crowded than ever, First Officer Murdoch and
0:51.0	sixth Officer Moody are lowering boats 13 and 15.
0:56.2	But there's a problem.
0:58.3	Boat 13's route down the side of Titanic is blocked by a surge of water exiting the ship.
1:06.5	The pumps down below are sending large quantities of seaawater up and out of the sinking vessel,
1:11.6	and now it looks like number 13 may be swamped by it.
1:16.6	Soon the flood of water is rushing into the boat.
1:19.6	The passengers must act fast, or they'll be sunk before they've even reached the ocean.
1:25.6	They scrabble about for the lifeboat's long wooden oars,
1:29.3	hoping to push themselves off from Titanic's hull.
1:32.3	But the oars have been lashed together for safekeeping,
1:36.3	and several people are sitting on top of them.
1:39.3	Eventually they managed to get at the oars
1:42.3	and push themselves clear of the rushing torrent.
