Good afternoon, fellow investors, and welcome back to InvestTalk. This is our Tuesday, January

21st, 2025 edition of InvestTalk. And this is also the first trading day of Trump 2.0.

The second Trump administration has begun. And there are a lot of worries as well as a lot of

optimism around what he will do depends on what side of the alley you're on depend on how it depends on how

you view potential policies that are coming down the pipe whether they are good for the markets good

for the country good for the world you know for the country, good for the world.

You know, there's a lot of cross currents here.

It's definitely true.

And there's a lot of unknowns.

And as we get further and further into the Trump administration, we will have a little bit more to work with.

Now, there's a lot of executive orders that came down the pipe, but most of those

don't have a ton to do with the economy. You're talking about cultural issues like DEI. Immigration does

have to do with the economy, but, you know, so far it's just more about, you know, birthright

citizenship, things like that. So there's a lot of these bills being signed or excuse me, executive orders being signed,

but still not a lot of information on the economic front.

Now, what we do know is that he is looking to administer about 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico, but it looks like it's a ploy

to renegotiate USMCA, which is what he, you know, part of the negotiation in the first Trump

administration.
