It was of real mushrooms.

It was a literal actual mushroom cloud.

See in those days we thought it was funny to take a phrase that was fundamentally a metaphor

and then do a kind of what about if we actually literally did it.

And then Ed Miliband came along with his actual carved and stone slab of promises if you remember.

And that's when you know you just thought this has gone.

Politics is now being written by people who think they are as good as sketch writers and as
