A 57-year-old maintenance technician spent the last 15 years stealing wine worth around a half a million dollars from some

of the top wineries in France where he had worked.

Wow. He stashed it and never drank any, ever.

They say that's that's about 8,000 bottles of wine and according to officials it doesn't appear that he's had a drop of the

stuff and it doesn't appear that he's sold a single bottle he was just hoarding it now

He was finally caught after security cameras caught him sneaking four bottles of wine from an

employer and the employer went to the police.

Oh boy.

It's thought to be one of the largest seller thefts in French history and

since his hall was intact all the bottles could be returned to their owners.

Oh yeah that's true I guess everybody gets it back. He said that he had no plans for the

bottles. He just wanted to quote, sit in the middle of his cellars to contemplate them.
