And Bruce, last week, last Wednesday I was at Notre Dame for the Media Day there, and I thought that would be a pretty uneventful visit.

It turns out it was the beginning of a very newsy week for Notre Dame.

Most of it not very good.

No.

They had one of these runs where they had six players arrested in two separate

incidences, instances, incidents.

Incidents. And incidents, yes, I was going to get to it. Beyond that, as you were well aware of,

they had an interesting decision on the quarterback front, which we'll get to a lot more,

a little later on as well.

You know, the big news out of Notre Dame, though, over the weekend was that the biggest name involved in those incidents was Max Redfield. He is a returning starter. He came in as a huge recruit.

He has had a very up and down career, and he has

had some problems there before. He was suspended for the bowl game and didn't play last winter

against Ohio State. From what I had heard, really what was kind of the last draw for him was

Ryan Kelly knew the team was going to have a little time off after training camp and said,

you know, kind of gave them a stern, hey, don't be that guy.

Watch yourself.

Don't do anything stupid.

And these guys got in some trouble, got arrested, and that was it.

They booted Max Redfield.
