We start our number two by having a conversation with a former MLB infielder and outfielder.

One of the first, like, when I got called up to the show, I remember coming out to

LA and coming to the studio, and I felt like, all right, we're starting to arrive.

Dude, I love that.

I love that you remember that.

And now that the old head is still here doing it and you're still doing the show. Now I feel like it's reversed like, good, I'm still

relevant. He will still come on the show. So I like that, man. I like that a lot. It's great to

have you. Absolutely. Listen, in fact, since we're talking about when you first came on, as I'm

looking back on your career, when you think about this, like I touched on this. I mean, you played every position except centerfield, catcher, and pitcher.

How early in your career did you realize that maybe, maybe ability or versatility might be my best ability?

You know what's crazy, Jim, is I never played another spot except shortstop from the time I was seven years old until the time I got to the big leagues

shortstop all the way and then I remember in spring training I was on field two in like

1998 1999 I took ground balls with rapio for call and I called my dad that afternoon after

spring training practice.

I said, we got, we got problem.

There's a guy that's better than me that showed up from A ball.
