We are joined by the head football coach at Nebraska. He is entering his second season there.

He previously served as the head coach of Temple University, Baylor University, the Carolina

Panthers in the NFL. He was the Big 12 coach of the year in 2019. The start of the season is

right around the corner. The Huskers are going to open up at home against U-TEP on August 31st.

Of course, I'm talking about Nebraska head coach.

I'm always up for talking Nebraska football.

How you doing personally?

And how does everything look to you both on and off the grass from your team right now?

Well, it's great to talk to you.

I just spread it off the practice field to get up here because, you know, I'm always excited

to talk to you.

Things are going well here.

I mean, we have what we think is a really good football team.

We're making a lot of progress.

We're excited to get the season rolling.

I appreciate you making the run up there too, Matt. So the last time you and I spoke, if I'm not mistaken, was right after you were hired in November of 22, we spent some of that conversation talking about the importance of culture building. Do you feel like you've completely set the standard and the type of culture you're looking for? Or maybe, given the extreme turnover in the sport right now, do you have to reset that

standard and culture every single year?

You know, I think we've done a really good job, and the players have done a really good job

of sort of establishing our culture and the way that we want to do things.
