This week we talk Walls at Farm Fest, Marijuana Mayhem, and Trump's efforts to clean up D.C.

So Walls was at Farm Fest. This was his triumphant return to the agriculture event. Bill,

for our listeners who don't know what Farm Fest is explain it to us yeah it's a great

it's a three-day agriculture expo in southern minnesota it's kind of grown over the years so just

think trade show in the ag business so the farm fest audience is very conservative now so it's not a

benefit friendly place for tim walls it's it's a little bit hostile for him in greater Minnesota. You can see that

electorally. And it gets shown when he comes to Farm Fest. And it's interesting, given his kind of

public persona when it came to being on the campaign trail with Kamala, because one of the things

they really liked about Tim Walls, I think, was that sort of like rural thing he tried to have going on. They had those camo hats, remember? And then, you know, when he actually goes to Farm Fest, yeah, and, you know, has to debate Scott Jensen. The crowd was not on his side. Yeah, and can you blame them? I mean, look at he does absolutely, he did try to put out this like men of the people, rural personality, camo hat, you know, coach Tim Walls. That was the persona he was cultivating. And then he would come turn around at home in Minnesota and say, you know, oh, there's just rocks and cows out there. You know, who cares about those people. I mean, these people at Farm Fest are those people that he claims to hate because they're all Trump supporters. Yeah, he's kind of in conflict with his own past because he grew up on a farm. He's legit.

I mean, he grew up on a farm.

His family is a farm, not in Minnesota, but he grew up on a farm. He represented farm country

in Congress, certainly the first district in Minnesota is mostly rural, mostly agricultural,

including, I don't know, it used to be when he was there, but Farm Fest

is the location. I think it's in the seventh congressional, but I think it used to be in the fifth, or the first, I'm sorry, southern Minnesota. So, but I think as a politician, he wants to be, you know, in with the cool kids, the cool liberal kids, like his lieutenant governor of Flanagan and the teacher's union.
