I'm your host, Asherita Choochoochoo, and this season we're putting on the armor of God. Today, specifically, we are responding to God's call to engage. So take a deep breath and quiet your heart as we become aware of God's loving presence around us and within us.

Today's passage comes from Ephesians chapter 6, verses 10 to 11.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God

so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. Let's start by reciting God's

goodness. Almighty God, you are king over the universe, and you are the one who has won this battle.

Thank you, Jesus, that yours is the victory.

That we don't have to wonder how this war will play out. We don't have to be

confused or scared for what the future will hold. God, you are the one who makes us stand strong in

you. We get to rest in the victory that you already won Jesus on the cross

through your resurrection. You are the one who spoke the words, it is finished. And so you invite us now

to be strong in your mighty power. You're the one who clothes us with your righteousness. You're the one

who prepares us for battle with your own armor. With you, Jesus. We get to stand in you.

So take a moment now to reflect on this call to engage, to take your stand in Christ's own victory,

and praise him for what that looks like in your life. I'm I'm I'm
