forces in the Red Sea is fighting in the region further intensifies.

According to Central Command, U.S. Navy helicopters responded to a distress call from a container ship

that was under attack by four Huthi boats.

When the helicopters arrived, they were fired upon before returning fire and sinking three out of the

four vessels.

The crews were killed and the Houthis say ten of their fighters died.

The same commercial vessel was hit by a missile that was fired by the Houthis.

While responding to that incident, the USS Gravely shot down two anti-ship ballistic missiles.

The developments in the Red Sea come as intense fighting continues on the ground in Gaza.

It is day 86 of the war between Israel and Hamas and Israeli troops are going

after an intricate network of tunnels around Gaza's second largest city of Hanunis.

The ideas says the paratroopers brigade has been deployed to southern Gaza after weeks

of fighting in the north.
