police released more information after yesterday shooting on the UNLV campus.

Las Vegas Sheriff Kevin McMayhill said when they responded to UNLV

plane clothes officers confronted 67 year old Anthony Polito

as he exited a building on campus.

The suspect was struck multiple times and collapsed to the ground.

Three other faculty members were killed and one other was injured.

McMayhal said Polito had financial problems, had applied for several jobs at Nevada colleges.

His prior job teaching was in North Carolina years ago.

The suspect had a list of people he was seeking on a university campus,

as well as faculty from the Eastern Carolina University.

He says before the shooting,

Polito sent 22 letters to various university personnel

and some letters they intercepted

had some kind of white powder inside.

The sheriff says inside the suspect's home they found a last will and

testament ammunition and electronic devices including computers.
