The effort to expel a member of Congress is back on.

Ethics Committee Chairman Michael Guest in his intention

intentions to expel Congressman George Santos says his position and

involvement in the investigation makes him the right person to file the

resolution.

Who knows the investigation, the content of what is in the report and someone who is offering

it with no political motives.

Guess says the committee found substantial evidence.

Santos used campaign funds for personal use.

Santos responding by saying the committee is biased and, quote,

went to extraordinary lengths to smear myself and my legal team.

Guests will file the expulsion resolution tomorrow.

In light of the ethics report, Santos wrote on eggs formerly Twitter

that the investigation would, as a disgusting political political smear but said he would not be

running for re-election. A mistrial has been declared after a federal jury as deadlocked.

In the trial of Brett Hankinson, the former Louisville police officer accused of firing

straight bullets during the police raid in 2020 that killed Brianna Taylor.

Hankinson had been charged with using excessive force in the search for

Taylor's home, none of the bullet
