U.S. Capitol police are switching to what they called an enhanced posture ahead of the election.

There isn't a massive fence expected around the perimeter of the Capitol like we've seen for some events.

Instead, police are expected to line the capital square with bike rack fencing.

That cuts the number of places people can go to to get in and out of the grounds, there are also going to be extra officers.

One source tells Fox the enhanced security posture will start this weekend and continue

until further notice. Fox is also told there's no concrete

threat to the Capitol on election day, but after the January 6th riot, law

enforcement has concerns the election could trigger violence.
