Accused of sharing classified information.

John Bolton, who served as National Security Advisor during the first Trump administration,

and has since become a harsh critic of the president, faces 18 counts of mishandling classified information.

Bolton charged not only with keeping top secret classified information, but sharing it with

family members.

The Justice Department says Bolton sent diary-like entries about his workdays at the White

House and shared information classified up to the top secret SCI level, the highest level,

and share them on messaging apps and personal AOL and Google email accounts.

Bolton's lawyer, Abby Lowell, said it a statement saying the underlying facts in this case were

investigated and resolved years ago.

And he says we look forward to proving once again that Ambassador Bolton did not unlawfully

share or store any information.

President Trump was asked about the indictment calling

Bolton a bad guy. Too bad, but it's the way it goes. That's the way it goes, right?

In a statement, Bolton said, in part, I have become the latest target in weaponizing the Justice

Department to charge those that he deems to be his enemies. The president with a warning to Hamas that the U.S. will have no choice but to kill them

if it continues to kill Palestinians in Gaza.

The president posting on true social coming after the president told Hamas to disarm or be

disarmed.

Today, Hamas said it's committed to the terms of the ceasefire, but said the return of the remains of some hostages may be delayed
