Secretary of State Antony Blinken meeting with Egypt's president today, the State Department

saying he underscored the U.S. is focused on halting Hamas' terror attacks against Israel

and protecting civilian life in Gaza.

Secretary Blinken also hoping to shore up fragile relations in the air.

There's a vision that we very strongly espouse that has countries in the region normalizing

their relations, integrating, working together in common purpose.

And again, currently in Israel's soldiers are waiting for an anticipated invasion into

Gaza, and there's also activity along the Israel-Lebanon border.

Israeli-Lebanon border, just the other side of that mountain ridge is Lebanon, and that's

where the Iranian-backed Hezbollah militant group is.

It has been shelling various Israeli military positions all along this border today.

Hezbollah has threatened to go big here if Israel escalates in the south.

Hezbollah are very fierce enemy.

They claim to have 100,000 fighters in their ranks.

They could have as many as 150,000 rockets in their arsenal.

Israel says it does not want a war with Hezbollah.
