democracy and to work toward a stronger, safer future.

The Biden administration has said to have a deal to free Americans detained in Iran.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken signed off on sanctions waivers, allowing $6 billion

in Iranian funds frozen in a South Korean account to be transferred to Qatar. The Biden

administration has also set the free five Iranian citizens as part of a prisoner exchange

for five Americans detained in Iran.

The sanctions waiver means banks in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia can convert the money

and transfer it to a central bank to be used by Iran for humanitarian goods.

Fox is Sharon Helpern at the White House. Republicans in Congress have argued on freezing

the money will only boost Iran's economy and nuclear weapons program.

Rescuers in Turkey say they have pulled an American researcher out of a cave more than
