Morocco after the country was hit by a rare, powerful earthquake.

Rescueers combing through rubble using shovels in their bare hands, hoping to find anyone

alive in piles of debris in Marrakesh.

The magnitude 6.8 quake that slam Morocco had people scrambling out of their homes and

into the streets, struggling to escape crumbling buildings.

President Biden said US officials had been in contact with Morocco to offer help and

that the administration's working to ensure American citizens in Morocco were safe.

Other world leaders are offering aid to France, Germany, Qatar and Turkey have stepped

up and Israel's been in touch with Moroccan officials offering rescue assistance.
