A deadly mass shooting in Minneapolis.

It happened at the Annunciation Catholic Church where children from the nearby Catholic school were attending math.

We often come to these and say these unspeakable tragedies or there's no words for this.

There shouldn't be words for these types of incidents

because they should not happen. Minnesota Governor Tim Walls, there were 19 victims in all.

Two were young children ages 8 and 10 that were sitting in the pews at mass when they were

shot and killed. They were pronounced deceased on the scene.

Police Chief Brian O'Hara, who says the shooter identified as 23-year-old Robin Westman was armed with a rifle, shotgun, and pistol.

Westman died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Legal documents showed what Westman was born with the name Robert, but applied for a name change as a minor, citing gender identity.

FBI director Cash Patel says the shooting

is being investigated as an active domestic terrorism and a hate crime targeting Catholics.

The Yuvalde Texas school district released only a small fraction of the documents and said it would

make public after the 22 Rob Elementary school shooting with district officials saying it was an honest mistake that they are fixing.

Just weeks after her confirmation, the director of the CDC is no longer with the agency.

Less than a month after becoming head of the Centers for Disease Control, Susan Menares has left the agency. A brief statement from

the Department of Health and Human Services posted online thanks Menares for her dedicated service

and says HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has full confidence in his team at CDC. They

continue to be vigilant in protecting Americans against infectious diseases.

Two other top officials that the CDC have also resigned, including the head of the agency's vaccine unit.
