FEMA workers placed on leave. I'm Sue Gosman Fox News. The Trump administration is putting

several FEMA employees on administrative leave after they signed on a public letter of dissent this

week, critical of the agency. Within 180 current and former FEMA workers had signed onto that letter

critical of cuts to agency

staff and programs, warning that FEMA's capacity to respond to a major disaster is greatly

diminished. 35 actually signed their name to it. 141 did so anonymously. No word from FEMA

on the exact number of employees affected.

We have tough guys, tough people, including some tough women.

Some city leaders have expressed concerns about too many armed troops roaming the nation's capital. Fox News hitting the streets of Washington, D.C. with the U.S. Marshals. Our cameras were rolling as we spent

hours out with those teams making arrests in different parts of the city. Those teams rolling up to

high crime areas and serving warrants for suspects wanted for a long list of violent crimes. Investigators said dozens of people arrested were right here in the country illegally, including members of Trenda Aragua and MS-13. I went around and talked to some people here in D.C. Some of them said, hey, this is way too many police. We don't need the National Guard. But it's interesting when you look at just how busy these crews are, because if there wasn't a lot of crime, they wouldn't have been nearly that busy last night.

And we saw it firsthand. So we'll see what happens in those cities that President Trump is targeting next. Fox's Alexis McCatum's meantime, the president's indicating he may have his sights set next on Chicago, saying it was a deadly weekend in the windy city,

with six dead and 27 hurt, searching the governor of Illinois and Chicago's mayor to call him for help to, quote,
