campaign and endorsing former President

Kennedy says he's staying on the ballot in most states but he's removing

himself from them in 10 battleground states that could pave the way to the White

House. Making the announcement, Kennedy blasted the

party that his family has helped lead for more than six decades. In the name of

saving democracy, the Democratic Party set itself to dismantling it, lacking confidence in its candidate

that his candidate could win in a fair election at the voting booth. Once considered a spoiler candidate for entering the race, Kennedy could have the same effect by leaving it.

At the peak of his candidacy, his support hit double digits, but his polling in fundraising numbers have since

plunded.
