Three dead in a shooting in Austin, Texas.

Police chief Lisa Davis says officers responded within four minutes and the suspect was

taken into custody after officers tased him.

We have a male white suspect who appears to be 32 years of age.

Does have a mental health history.

But again, all of that is very new.

This is a new very, you know, early in the investigation at this point, but he has been apprehended.

Chief Davis says this is a very sad day for Austin, but had no further information about the

victims. The man who attacked the CDC headquarters in Atlanta Friday, fired more than 180 shots and had 150 windows.

That's according to the Associated Press.

Police say the gunman who died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound killed a DeKalb County officer.

One person remains missing and one was killed after an explosion at the U.S. Steel Plan in Pennsylvania this morning. The explosion left many injured and several transported to the hospital. It occurred just before 11 a.m. at the Clareton Coke Works, a massive industrial facility along the Monongahela River south of Pittsburgh. U.S. Steel says something took place with two of the plant's Coke batteries, but exactly what happened is still unclear.

Everything else is stable when the plant, those two batteries are shut down.

As for the missing individual, we think we know the general location of that employee, but we're not 100% sure.

The plan has had its share of past problems, including previous explosions.
