Vice President Harris echoing Donald Trump's proposal on workers and tips.

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Trump are trying to appeal to service

workers in Nevada.

They're a powerful coalition in a state where nearly one in five employees work in leisure and hospitality.

After announcing her support for eliminating taxes on tips and raising the minimum wage,

the culinary union praised the vice president.

The group had endorsed Harris the day before her Las Vegas rally.

Exempting tips from taxes requires congressional approval and Harris's team says it would work with Congress on a proposal

that comes with quote an income limit and with strict requirements to prevent

hedge fund managers and lawyers from structuring their compensation in ways to try to take advantage

of the policy unquote.

Faith-based groups launching new efforts

in an attempt to get Christians more involved

in the election.

Fox is Lauren Green has more on that.

A recently released Pew Research Center survey found that

eight in ten Americans say religion is losing its influence in public life.

Now several organizations are working to change that as voters head to the polls this

November. The nonpartisan group My Faith Votes launched a campaign to encourage
