I'm Lisa Lissera. President Trump says he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin next week,

posting on truth social that the two will meet next Friday in Alaska.

The president hinted earlier that the meeting was happening soon.

It would have been sooner, but I guess there's security arrangements that,

unfortunately, people have to make.

Otherwise, I'd do it much quicker.

Meeting would be the first between Putin and an American president since 2021.

A split federal appeals court from the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals has tossed out a judge's contempt finding against the Trump administration over the deportation of suspected

Trende Aragua members to a prison in El Salvador. Atlanta police say a suspect is dead and

another one member of law enforcement is hurt after a shooting near the campus of Emory University.

They say the ongoing threat is over but are asking people to avoid the area.

An immense presence that's been here on the scene, officers coming in and out and again up above

the helicopter that is pretty close to the ground.

in Montana has been arrested. Forty-five-year-old Michael Brown has been been arrested accused of killing four people at the Owl Bar in Anaconda, Montana, a site full of regulars.

Everyone knew most everyone who frequented the bar, including the suspected shooter himself.

A female bartender in her 60s was killed and three customers ranging in age from 59 to 74.

Brown's niece told media outlets her uncle suffered from schizophrenia and PTSD after serving in

the army. She said she and her family are heartbroken for the families and for the small town.
