He will never get out. I'm Lisa Lacerra. Fox News. Sentencing for Brian Coburger, the man who admitted to killing four University of Idaho students in their home in 2022.

Brian Coburger was given the opportunity to speak. He chose not to. That didn't really surprise me. He also showed absolutely no remorse. And again,

no surprise. Judge Stephen Hippler gave Coburger the exact same sentence as was agreed to in the

plea deal, four consecutive life sentences, no chance for parole. Three of the four victims'

families showed up for the hearing. They gave emotional statements

about the young people Coburger took from them. And Coburger watched them with a blank,

empty stare on his face, and it never changed. Even as he listened to a tearful Dylan Mortensen,

one of the two surviving roommates and the only one to see Kohlberger in that house that night.

Fox is Dan Springer in Boise. This afternoon, police release documents related to the investigation.

In one of them, Lee Detective Brett Payne described walking through the crime scene and discovering the victims,

each of whom were stabbed multiple times. Just hours before the House was said to end its July session, the

Oversight Committee has voted to subpoena the Justice Department for files in the Jeffrey

Epstein sex trafficking case. This coming after, a judge in Florida, rejected the request from the

Trump administration to unseal the grand jury records on Jeffrey Epstein.

Now, this is the case where federal authorities reached a plea deal with Epstein, essentially

sending him back on the street for roughly a decade.

He was later charged in New York with more serious crimes, including trafficking.

He died in prison in 2019 before he went to trial.
