the man hunt in Georgia is over.

I'm Ted Lindner Fox News officials in Georgia say a man believed to have murdered

four people in Henry County was killed during the man hunt.

Local and federal officials say Andre Longmore died in a shootout with police.

Longmore was the sole suspect in the shooting deaths of three men and a woman

early Saturday in the town of Hampton.

Henry County Sheriff Reginald Scandrid says searchers found Longmore

who fired a police then ran.

We gave chase.

We engaged the suspect.

He produced a handgun again.

Gunfire was exchanged.

Suspect was neutralized.

Two deputies, one from Henry County, another from Clayton County were wounded and hospitalized.

They are expected to recover.

The investigation of a motive continues.

At least five people have died as a result of flash flooding in two children and nine month old boy and his two year old sister still missing.
