A man has been arrested after an hour's long standoff in a room at the Caesar's Palace

on the Las Vegas strip.

No injuries were reported, including to the woman who was described as a hostage after

she was pulled into the room by force earlier in the day.

Authorities have not confirmed if the man had been armed.

Las Vegas police had confirmed there had been no gunfire despite prior reports of shots

fired.

Ukraine's president upset over a lack of a clear path to NATO membership.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is not hiding his fury that he's going to end this

visit without even a conditional invitation to join the alliance.

He called that unprecedented and absurd and worn that Russia will use this as a negotiating

chip trying to block them out of a future bid for membership as part of the path to

end the war.

The alliance issued a joint statement saying that Ukraine's future is with NATO, but the

timing is just not right.
