Eight dead in one of the deadliest incidents since the October 7th

attack on Israel. I'm Ancarick Fox News. Israeli officials say the eight

soldiers were killed in Rafa. Israel's foreign minister says it's been a quote difficult Saturday after a blast in Raff

claimed the lives of eight Israel Defense Force soldiers.

According to the IDF, the soldiers have been driving in a convoy Saturday morning following an

overnight offensive against Hamas. Officials say there was very serious

damage to the vehicle and those in it in the large explosion made it difficult to

identify and locate bodies.

No word yet on what caused the blast.

It's the deadliest incident for the IDF in six months.

The incident comes as Israel continues to further its push in offer following reports of airstrikes and heavy shelling.

More U.S. money is going to help Ukraine as Western nations join together at a

peace summit to help the war-torn country.

Vice President Kamala Harris met with Ukraine's President Salinsky at the summit in Switzerland

and told him the US is giving one and a half billion dollars to help with Ukraine's

emergency energy needs, humanitarian requirements like food and water, as well as civilian

security.

Zelensky predicted history is being made at this weekend's conference.

The summit aims to plot the first steps toward peace in Ukraine, even though critics

don't expect any major breakthroughs because Russia isn't attending.
