Congratulations to all. I hereby formally announced the toll-free opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and simultaneously herewith

authorize the immediate removal of the United States naval blockade. Fox's Trey Yinks has more from

Tel Aviv. It's a new opportunity for the region, and it's an opportunity for the region to look

forward and pass this round of conflict. And there will be a lot of statements made by the

Iranian regime in the days ahead. It will not be uncommon to see officials in Tehran focus on one

specific part of the agreement that looks good for the Iranian. It's important to look at the deal

as a whole and what it means. And it means that the Strait of Hormuz is immediately open.

The U.S. naval blockade of

Iranian ports is lifted, and ultimately you are not going to see this exchange of fire taking

place across the region like we've seen for the past three and a half months. And crude oil

responding immediately, U.S. crude now down more than 4%. And Pakistani negotiators said that both sides have declared

the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, and that includes

in Lebanon. In other news, Republican Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky has been hospitalized.

A spokesman for Senator McConnell would only say he's receiving excellent medical care but that's

about all McConnell has had plenty of health issues in recent years a few months ago he was

hospitalized for eight days after experiencing flu-like symptoms he fell and sprained his wrist

while walking out of a luncheon in 2024.

He was hospitalized with a concussion in 2023 after falling in a hotel.

After he returned, he twice rose up during news conferences.
