An agreement to raise the debt ceiling between House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and President

Biden has been reached, but faces hurdles to pass throughout the House and Senate.

President Biden says he's confident a bill will get to his desk, but the debt ceiling

challenge is now entering its most daunting phase, getting the agreement through Congress.

Passing the bill requires a delicate bipartisan formula of Democrats and Republicans in both

chambers, the GOP clawed back $1.8 billion from the IRS, but North Carolina conserved

of Dan Bishop tweeted that the bill barely makes a dent in the effort to hire more IRS

agents.

Fox's Chad program, meanwhile two more horses have died at Churchill Downsy, Kentucky, bringing

the number of horses who have died at the facility to 12 since March.

As for the two horses that died, Kimberly Dream suffered a ligament ruptured to her left

front leg on Saturday during a race, and lost in limbo suffered a similar injury during

Friday's seventh race.

In both cases, the veterinarians who treated them determined the horses could not recover.

Churchill Downsy issued a statement saying the vets made the difficult, but most humane

decision to euthanize them.

Their deaths add to the 10 other horse fatalities at Churchill Downsy since March 30.

PETA is heavily criticizing the organization over the deaths.
