More changes to electoral maps. I'm Lisa Lacerra. Fox News. Missouri, Science Court upholds adjustments made to the state's congressional district map ahead of the November of midterms. Here's Fox's Granol Scott.

The Missouri State Supreme Court ruled the new map meets state constitutional standards and can be in effect for this year's

primary election. Those contests are set for August 4th. Missouri's eight U.S. House seats are

filled by six Republicans and two Democrats. The new map splits, a Western district that for decades

contained nearly all of Kansas City to potentially gain a seven-to-one

GOP advantage. An activist group, people, not politicians, Missouri, collected hundreds of

thousands of signatures hoping to force a statewide referendum. Missouri's Secretary of State has not

decided if that vote will happen.

Meanwhile, in South Carolina, the state Senate fell short of the two-thirds majority needed to extend their legislative session past Thursday so they could consider redistricting.

The State House had voted in favor of letting lawmakers return after the regular session

ends this week and proposed a new map that would have eliminated the state's only Democratic-held seat. President Trump now on his way to China for a meeting with

President Xi Jinping. Iran said to be a main topic of conversation as the president has rejected

Iran's counterproposal for a peace deal. Their military is gone. It's wiped out. And we're only going to

make a good deal. We'll see what happens. But I believe that one way or the other, it's going to be very good for the American people. And I think actually very good for the Iranian people.

China buys Iranian oil and the Trump administration has sought to use Beijing to put pressure on Iran, though the president said he won't ask China to intervene in negotiations.
