General Mary Garland says years of

work has led to today were four out

of five members of the far right

group the proud boys were found guilty

of seditious conspiracy related

to their actions during the Capitol

riot. Over the past two years,

the department has secured more than

600 convictions for a wide

broad range of criminal conduct

on January 6th, as well as in the days

and weeks leading up to the attack.

Garland praised federal law enforcement

for holding those responsible accountable

all five defendants were found guilty

of felonies related to the attack,

including obstructing Congress's

certification of the 2020 presidential election.
