North Dakota governor Doug Burgham signed a new bill into law today banning abortions

at six weeks of pregnancy, even in cases of rape or incest.

In a statement, Burgham declaring that, quote, this bill clarifies and refines a existing

state law and reaffirms North Dakota as a pro-life state.
