After a California bank failure, I'm Joe Chiro, Fox News.

Many customers who had money in Silicon Valley bank are worried after it was closed by

federal regulators this week.

Fox's Nate Foray has more from New York City.

Tech fowders and CEOs came here to the lone branch of the bank here in New York trying

to withdraw their funds.

Not only were they turned away, cops were also called on them.

This came just one day after the largest bank run in US history where customers of the

bank withdrew $42 billion after the shocking announcement of a $1.8 billion loss for Silicon

Valley bank.

The bank crumbled after being forced to sell bonds at a massive loss of mid rising interest

rates.

SVB's branches are expected to reopen March 13th.

Republican lawmakers say President Biden's budget proposal is dead on arrival in Congress.

The trillions more in spending is going to grow the national debt by some 50%.

Now let's take a look more at Biden's tax proposals. There's a 25% minimum tax on people

with $100 million, a 39.6% capital gains tax for people making more than 400 grand, 28%

corporate income tax, a 4% stock buy back tax, and a 3.8% sur tax on investment income.
