President Trump confirmed this afternoon that the U.S. Israeli airstrikes in Iran killed the country's supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei. Posting on truth social, President Trump called Khamenei one of the most evil people in history.

Hameini was Iran's supreme leader since 1989 in a leading figure in the 1979 Iranian

revolution. His death occurred during U.S. and Israeli airstrikes launched against government

in military targets Saturday morning. President Trump says the bombing campaign

will continue uninterrupted throughout the week or as long as necessary. Israeli Prime Minister

Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel struck the Supreme Leader's compound and senior Israeli officials

say dozens of other Iranian regime and security figures were killed.
