When they heard the news at the Scorpion Police Unit has been disbanded.

The five former officers, Charis, with beating Tyrone Nichols were members of that unit.

Protests were held in a number of big cities overnight, including New York and L.A.

Two sheriff's deputies have been placed on a ministerial leave in connection with the beating.

Los Angeles police say at least three people were dead and four more injured after a shooting

outside a home in the upscale Beverly Crest neighborhood, LAPD Sergeant Bruce Borahen.

Two of those victims were here at scene and the fire department paramedics transported

them to a local hospital.

And two, either self-transported or got a ride to the hospital.

And out of those four victims that were transferred to the hospital, two are in stable condition

and two are in critical condition.

Police says the three dead victims were found in a car parked outside the home, no word

yet on a suspect.

Police at Albert Kirkkey are searching for suspects after an overnight shooting left

a teen dead and another critically wounded.

Authorities have not said how many suspects were involved or were led to that shooting.
